Kilittaşı Schools: A Unique Education, An Investment in the Future

Founded in 2018 by Keystone International Schools, Kilittaşı Schools was established to provide international-standard education specifically for Turkish and dual-nationality students, offering a unique and unparalleled approach to learning in Turkey and beyond. Beginning at the age of 3, our educational journey allows children to naturally acquire a foreign language in an immersive environment, exposed to authentic accents and language use. At this stage, students are taught exclusively in English by expert teachers who are native speakers of the language. Through this distinctive method, our students naturally acquire confidence in English fluency.

Dual Curriculum System and an Enriched Academic Experience

When our students reach primary school age, they continue their education under a dual curriculum program with two homeroom teachers. Under the guidance of a Turkish homeroom teacher, students follow the National Education Ministry curriculum. At the same time, they also take English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, and Science lessons with a foreign homeroom teacher. At Kilittaşı Schools, where all subject classes are taught in English, students benefit from a well-rounded and enriched academic experience.

Advanced French Education and Multilingual Development

At Kilittaşı Schools, English is the primary language, while French is introduced as a second language from the age of 4. Continuing as the second language until Grade 5, French is taught intensively to ensure our students can actively use it as well. From Grade 5 onward, students receive 15 hours of French per week in a rigorous program designed to bring them to a high level of proficiency. Through this, Kilittaşı students develop all their language skills in both English and French, stepping confidently toward becoming globally-minded citizens.
