Parent Teacher Organization
What is a PTO?
It is a legal institution established to provide better education for students by facilitating communication between teachers and parents.
This legal institution takes its name from the school where it was founded. It operates in accordance with the Ministry of National Education’s Parent-Teacher Organization Regulation, and all its purposes and responsibilities are in compliance with this regulation.
What are the aims of the PTO?
The primary goal of the PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) is to support the general and specific objectives of the school by establishing strong cooperation between families, parents, and teachers. Additionally, the PTO plays an important role in organizing and promoting social and cultural activities within the school, ensuring that all parents are informed about and participate in these activities.
At Kilittaşı Schools, the PTO organizes charity events, festivals, and various activities to develop Kilittaşı’s values and culture related to school life.
